Dog Scouts of America is an organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs using positive training, education, activities and community service. To earn badges or titles (or just for fun), there are activities in different categories:

Trails (hiking)
Nosework
Obedience
Pulling
Water
Agility
Community service

In the Trails category, for instance, badges can be earned in Hiking, Backpacking, Geocaching and Letterboxing (a type of urban Geocaching). Other badges include Messenger Dog, Scent Discrimination, Rally, Naked Dog Obedience, Manners, and a lot more!

Dog Scout members can join a troop and work as part of a group or do their own thing. There is something for dogs of every shape, size and breed. To find out more visit dogscouts.org.
